Viktor Knavs (born March 24, 1944) is a Slovene Businessperson, Former Car Salesman and Automobile dealer from Sevnica. In addition, he has also worked for the Mayor of Sevnica as a chauffeur during his early days of career. He is best known as the father of Melania Trump (First Lady of the United States).
On 10 August 2018, Viktor Knavs and Amalija Knavs have received the Citizenship of the United States of America.

Donald Trump’s father-in-law, Viktor Knavs Knauss was born on 24 March 1944 (age 75 years, as in 2019) in Radeče, Slovenia. He was raised in a simple middle-class family. His father has also worked as an automobile mechanic, whereas his mother uses to teach children.
He has attended his high school along with his siblings to complete his education. Later, he has completed his graduation from the University of Sevnica.

As per his personal life, he has married his wife “Amalija Knavs” in 1967. The 74-year-old businessperson has also blessed with two daughters i.e. Ines Knauss (born 1968) and Melania Knavs (born 1970).
But later, Melanija Knavs has changed her name to Melania Knauss while beginning her career in modeling.
Melania Trump’s father has also joined the communist party during the ruling period of Marshal Tito (President of Yugoslavia).
