Vanessa Williams (born March 18, 1963) is an American Actress, Singer, Fashion Designer, Former Miss America, and Social Media Personality from The Bronx, New York. She first gained recognization after becoming Miss America in 1984.
In fact, she was the first African-American descent woman who bagged the title. However, Vanessa resigned as Miss America in July 1984 after she got into a huge controversy.
