Vanessa Ponce (born March 7, 1992) is a Mexican Model and Beauty Pageant Titleholders from Guanajuato City, Guanajuato. She is also a member of the Board of Directors for girls’ rehab center. Furthermore, the 26-year-old model recently crowned as a Miss World 2018.
On December 8, 2018, Vanessa earned the 68th edition of the Miss World title. The event took place in Sanya, China. Manushi Chillar (Miss World 2017) crowned her successor at the event.
Moreover, she is also the first Mexican who became the Miss World in history. Her full birth name is Vanessa Ponce De Leon. The model started her profession as a contestant on cycle 5 of Mexico’s Next Top Model in 2014.
