Thomas Kail (born 20 January 1977) is a professional American theater director from Alexandria, Virginia, United States. He is best known for his best directing of “Off-Broadway” and “Hamilton”. He is awarded by “Tony Award for Best Direction of a Musical” in the year 2016 for Hamilton. In 2018, he was also honored by the “Kennedy Center Honor”.
