Tess Joseph (born in 1979) is an Indian Casting Director from Kolkata, West Bengal. She is famous for her work in both Indian Films and Hollywood movies. Furthermore, the 39-year-old director began her career with the movie “The Namesake” as a casting director.
She later worked with many international names such as Wes Anderson, Jeffrey Brown, Ang Lee and Doug Liman. One of her most promising work was in the film “Lion (2016)“. The international film produced by TWC and her role was to cast the Indian characters.
Recently, the casting director came out with her #MeToo story on Twitter. Joseph was 20-year-old at the time when she selected to work on the show “Kodeeshwaran“. The TV quiz show was host by the Mukesh Kumar, Malayalam actor and CPI (M) MLA.
Moreover, she told that Mukesh used to call her many times during the work. In fact, she was the only woman who was working there at that time. Tess also claimed that her room was changed to near Mr. Kumar’s room. This solely happened because of Mukesh’s wish.
Later, Tess told his behavior to the maker of the show “Derek O’Brien”. Derek came to her rescue at that time. Moreover, Mukesh Kumar denied all of Joseph’s claims and said I don’t even know her.
