Surleen Kaur (born in 1986) is a popular Indian stand-up comedian, actress, television personality, and blogger from Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. She is famously known in the country for her best stand-up comedy acts.
Mostly, she did stand-up comedy for the Shemaroo Entertainment Limited. Apart from a comedian, she is also a good actress. Surleen has appeared in many TV shows like Aazar Ka Kharabh, Baat Ki Baat, Selfie, Aadat Se Majboor, and others.

Famous stand-up comedian Surleen has come into controversy after making objectionable remarks on ISKCON (Religious Institution).
After this, a legal complaint has been filed against Surleen Kaur and the entertainment company Shemaroo in Mumbai. Indeed, Kaur has made derogatory comments against ISKCON, sage-monks, and Hinduism in one of her videos.
ISKCON (International Society for Krishna Consciousness) stated in its complaint that Surleen Kaur’s language in the video is not only very objectionable, but she is also very abusive. This has also hurt the followers of Sanatan Dharma, Hindus, and people all over the world associated with ISKCON.

Seeing the escalation, Shemaroo apologizes to ISKCON and refuses to have any future relationship with Kaur and the show’s anchor Balraj Sial.
Along with this, Shemaroo has appreciated the humanitarian work being done by ISKCON. At the same time, Shemaroo has removed the controversial video from YouTube.
