Sudeeksha Bhati (Hindi: “सुदीक्षा भाटी”, born in 1999) was an Indian Promising student from Manikpur Village in Dadri, Uttar Pradesh. She is well-known in the country for the scholarship she earned from her hard work. She was the topper of her district.

The promising student, Sudeeksha Bhati lost her life because of eve-teasing by some local bad boys in her district. Bhati died on 10 August 2020. A sense of anger has arisen in Uttar Pradesh as well as all over the country due to Sudeeksha’s death.

Early Life, Parents & Siblings

The intelligent girl took birth from her parents in the year 1999 in Manikpur Village in Dadri, Uttar Pradesh. She was born into a poor family and belonged to the Hinduism religion. Sudeeksha Bhati was 20 years old at the time of her death.

Because of her family’s financial condition, she did her primary education from a local government school in her village. After that, she enrolled her name at Shiv Nadar Foundation’s Vidya Gyan School in Bulandshahr.

Due to her excellence and hard work, Sudeeksha Bhati scored 98% marks in her senior secondary examination and became the topper of her district in the Humanities stream. Due to this, Sudeeksha received a scholarship worth Rs 3.80 crore from the famous educational institute in the USA named “Bobson College”.

After some time, Sudeeksha Bhati moved to the USA and completed her pre-college program of 4 weeks from Lehigh University. After that, she attended Bobson College and started pursuing her graduation in the field of Global Business Management and Finance.

As per the media reports, Sudeeksha Bhati came to her village to spent her holidays with her family due to the COVID-19 pandemic. According to sources, she wanted to meet her maternal uncle. So she went to visit the maternal uncle’s house with her uncle “Satendra Bhati” on 10 August 2020^[1]NDTV.

But she died on the spot due to the accident on the road. On the interrogation of the maternal uncle, Satendra told that at around 8 am on Monday, he was taking Sudiksha to her maternal uncle’s home on his bike.

On Bulandshahar-Aurangabad road, two slug ridden men began chasing them. The scoundrels began overwhelming his motorcycle over and over. Satendra drove his bicycle quickly forward.
