Subriel Matias (born March 31, 1992) is a Puerto Rican Boxer from Fajardo, Puerto Rico. He competes in the lightweight and welterweight championships. He won 14 fights in his career.
His fight on July 19, 2019, scheduled with Maxim Dadashev at the MGM National Harbor, Oxon Hill (Maryland). Furthermore, his full real birth name is Subriel Ahmed Matías Matthew.
The fight continued for 11 rounds. Furthermore, Matias defeated Dadshev in all the rounds. Then, Maxim coach named Buddy McGirt asked to stop the fight. At that time, Matias’s opponent medical condition was not stable.
Mr. Dadshev fainted around the ring area. Meanwhile, he also vomited over there. The management arranged the ambulance and took him to UM Prince George’s Hospital Center, Maryland. Then, the doctors made his medical report.
They told that his right side of the brain-damaged. Additionally, he needed a quick surgery to save his life. Later on, Maxim went to the medically induced coma. The skull’s right side removed to decrease swelling. Still, the operation could not save Maxim’s life.
Maxim Dadashev’s wife named Elizaveta Apushkina confirmed regarding his death on July 20. On the other hand, she demanded the investigation in the case too. Subriel is also sad about Maxim Dadashev death. He called him a great warrior and kind-hearted personality.
