Robert Brockman (born in 1941) is an American famous personality who serves as one of the members of the Brockman Foundation’s Scholarship Advisory Board.
He is also the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of The Reynolds and Reynolds Company. The company mainly provides software used by auto dealerships to help manage their business.
On October 16 2020 the software tycoon became the talk of the town and appeared in the headlines. According to the reports of the US Department of Justice, he has been charged with tax fraud.
The billionaire allegedly hiding $2billion in income over 20 years from the government. It is considered as the biggest case ever against an American citizen.

Federal prosecutors also said Brockman used a web of off-shore companies in the Caribbean to launder money. He was accused after a fellow billionaire named Robert Smith turned against him to withdraw pursuance.

During a press conference in San Francisco, U.S. Attorney David Anderson stated that Brockman was also charged in a securities fraud scheme.
It all started after he bought and sold debt securities in his own company. Furthermore, he also broke a promise to investors that he would not buy or sell his own company’s debt.
Robert faces multiple charges. In this, he has accused of 7 counts of tax evasion and 6 counts of failing to file reports disclosing foreign bank accounts. Apart from these, he also has his involvement in numerous other counts. They are money laundering, wire fraud, and evidence tampering.
Brockman’s lawyer named Kathryn Keneally said in an emailed statement that Mr. Brockman has declared not guilty, and we look forward to securing him against these charges.
