In the year 2020 on 11 June, news came that he got arrested by the Dubai Interpol and FBI. There are charges of doing fraud against him.
It is said that he is involved in a fraud that counts at around $13.5 billion. Upon this the Nigerian billionaire Ismaila Mustapha reacted. He said that we should not comment on this right now as such things can possibly happen to anybody.
