Ramila Umashankar (born September 9, 1974) is an Indian JDS Politician from Bengaluru, Karnataka (India). In fact, she is the newly elected Deputy Mayor of Bengaluru’s BBMP. Furthermore, Ms. Umshankar is the known face of the JDS party. She is the first woman to get the post of Deputy Mayor in the Municipal Commission of Bengaluru.
However, she lost her life in the cardiac attack on October 5, 2018 (Friday). Ramila has no past medical history of sugar, hypertension and cardiac issues. Suddenly, she felt chest pain and admitted to hospital. Though, it is a minor attack twice. She died while reaching the hospital.
The JDS party members are in deep sorrow on her death. Furthermore, she died a week after becoming the Deputy Mayor. Apart from that, her death cause is excessive stress that caused cardiac issues. Meanwhile, her family members bid her final farewell with tears in their eyes.
