Prerna Arora (born December 9, 1987) is an Indian Film Producer from Dehradun, Uttarakhand. She is famous for producing a movie named “Fanney Khan“. The movie starred Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Rajkummar Rao. Furthermore, the 31-year-old producer also co-produced hit movies like Toilet – Ek Prem Katha and Pari.
On December 7, 2018, Prerna caught by Economic Offences Wing (EOW) of the Crime Branch, Mumbai Police. According to a source, she arrested in possession of multiple passports and PAN cards.
Moreover, Arora’s advocate Ashok Sarogi, held a special hearing on holiday i.e. December 8, 2018. Later, P V Bulbule (representative of EOW) stated that Prerna should be sent to EOW’s custody till December 10.
In addition, the further trial in the case will be conducted on 10th of December. Her lawyer also debated that the police didn’t have enough reason to take her into custody. Some other sources claimed that the producer Prerna arrested for alleged Fraud Of Rs. 32 Crore. Apparently, she cheated film-maker Vashu Bhagnani.
