Prema Krishna (born in 1939) is an Indian Social Activist, Political Personality, and Homemaker from Bengaluru, Karnataka (India). She is best known as the Spouse of S.M. Krishna (Senior BJP Politician). Prema stood like a pillar with him during his strong decisions. Moreover, Krishna left the congress party in 2017 and joined BJP.
He worked with the great congress leaders like Indira Gandhi and Rajeev Gandhi. Furthermore, SM made the Governor of Maharashtra and Chief Minister of Karnataka too. In his home state, he started a friendly program named BHOOMI to keep the track of land in Karnataka.

He was the representative in the lower and the upper house of the parliament too. V. G. Siddhartha Hegde (Café Coffee Day Founder) was the son-in-law of Prema. Hegde invested money in different businesses like hospitality, food, finance, and real estate. However, he faced financial losses in some years.
On July 29, 2019, Siddhartha ended his life and jumped in the Netravati River near the Mangaluru city. Now, the police officials of the city and NDRF started a joint search operation. They found his dead body near the riverbank.
