Pratibha Verma (born in 1993) is an Indian Civil Servant and Engineer from Manpur Village, Jaunpur (Uttar Pradesh, India). She is the third topper in the UPSC Civil Services Examination 2019 to become an IAS officer.
In 2018, she successfully cleared the Civil Services Entrance with AIR 489 rank and Physical subject optional. She worked on probation in the Indian Foreign Service (IFS) for three months in 2019.
Then, Verma joined on the position of the Income Tax Probationer in the IRS department until she cleared UPSC 2019. Like Neha Banerjee, she is also an IIT passed out an engineer who cracked UPSC.
She is the topper among the female candidates who appeared in the UPSC CSE Examination of 2019. While preparing for UPSC she covered limited material that helped her get a good score.
