Pazuzu Algarad (born August 12, 1978 – died October 28, 2015) is a American infamous personality, murderer, and self-proclaimed Satanist who is originally from Clemmons, North Carolina.
He became the talk of the town after his life documented in Viceland’s documentary called “The Devil You Know”. The show was released on August 27, 2019, which consists of five episodes.

This personality’s mother’s name is Cynthia Lawson who married her husband Timothy J. Lawson (John’s father) back in 1971. In the initial days of their marriage, the couple used to live in Forsyth County, North Carolina, USA.

In 2011, he again got into trouble when he tried to choke Cynthia Lawson. Pazuzu was accused of misdemeanor assault.
Moreover, his self-claimed wife “Amber Burch” was also very violent towards John’s mom and also stayed in prison for assaulting her.
On October 5, 2014, a search warrant issued in order to look deep into his house. The North Carolina State University Forensic Anthropology Unit, The North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation, and the Medical Examiner’s Office from Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center were the teams who carried out this process.
They found shallow graves and after digging them, the authorities discovered skeletal remains. At that time, he was 35 years old and his partner was 24 years old.
They both were arrested and accused of murdering their victims. Joshua Fredrick Wetzler and Tommy Dean Welch were two men who were said to be murdered by them.
He and his lover whose real full name is Amber Nicole Burch was never legally married but they have written on their Facebook account that they wedded each other on November 1, 2009.
Mental Illness History
Psychiatrists apointed to him in order to take his interview before his trails in order to evaulate his mental health. They said that he had poor hygiene habits, bad odor, and used to shake a lot.
A safekeeping order was issued in his name and he was moved to Central Prison, Raleigh, in May 2015.

As per their report, he suffered from agoraphobia and schizophrenia. They even claimed that Algarad also suffers from alcoholism and severe depression.
Suicide & Death Cause
At around 3 am on October 28, 2015, he found fainted in his cell as he cut his arm. The authorities found him unresponsive and rushed him to the hospital.
Many attempts were made in order to revive him but they all failed. Finally, at 4:20 a.m, Pazuzu Algarad was declared dead due to huge blood loss. He was survived by his son (name not revealed).
