Visakhapatnam MVVS Murthy (born July 3, 1938) is an Indian TDP Leader and Industrialist from Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, India. His Full name is Dr. Mathukumilli Veera Venkata Satyanarayana Murthi. Furthermore, Murthy is the founder of the Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management (GITAM) University, Vishakhapatnam.
In fact, he has also known as “Goldspot Murthy”. MVVS served as Lok Sabha member in 1991 and 1999 from Visakhapatnam. Earlier, he practiced in Andhra Pradesh Court as Lawyer. However, he died in a tragic car accident in Alaska, USA on October 3 around 4:30 am (IST).
Furthermore, his relatives told that the vehicle taking him to collide with a truck in California. The accident location is Parks Highway, Alaska. More than four injured in the deadly accident. The names of the two victims are VBR Chowdary and Velivolu Basavapunnaiah.

Another injured man Kadiayala Venkataratnam was traveling in the same car. He is airlifted to the nearby hospital in Alaska. Additionally, Mr. Murthy went to the USA to meet the alumni of GITAM University. He has to meet the student in California on October 6, 2018.

On the other hand, Chandra Babu Naidu (Chief Minister, Andhra Pradesh) expressed condolence on his death.
