Miriam Adelson (born October 10, 1945) is an American-Israeli Doctor, Political Donor, and Philanthropist from Tel Aviv, Mandatory Palestine. She is the trustee and co-founder of Adelson Family Foundation. Furthermore, the 73-year-old doctor was also an executive director and co-founder of AMRF.
She works as a publisher of the Israel Hayom newspaper. Miriam is the wife of Sheldon Adelson (American business magnate, investor, and philanthropist). Sheldon is the founder, chairman, and chief executive officer of Las Vegas Sands Corporation.
In addition, Sheldon Adelson’s Wife earned honorary citizenship of Jerusalem in 2013. Mrs. Adelson and her husband also started Dr. Miriam and Sheldon G. Adelson Research Clinic in Las Vegas in 2000. In 1993, she also established a substance abuse center and research clinic.
