Miranda Pacchiana (born in 1969) is an American Social Worker and Published Writer from New York. She is a survivor of child abuse and popularly known as a younger sibling of Adam Savage (famous TV star).
She came in limelight after she filed a lawsuit under the New York Child Victims Act, against her brother for raping her in childhood. Adam Savage’s full name is Adam Whitney Savage (age 52).
Furthermore, he is an American television personality and producer, and best known as the former co-host of the Discovery Channel television series MythBusters and Unchained Reaction. Also, he is a special effects designer and fabricator, actor, and educator.
In the lawsuit filed in the Westchester Supreme court, Miranda claims that the abuse happened during the 1970s when they used to live in Sleepy Hollow, New York, and were children.

Sexual Abuse Controversy
She was between 7 and 10 years old and her brother was between 9 and 12 years. According to a lawsuit, Adam calls himself raping bolb and repeatedly raped her, forced oral sex, and even penetrated her anally.
As per the reports, Miranda was horrified and traumatized by sexual abuse. On her website “The second wound”, she revealed her story she said that they believed her but her family members still seemed determined to brush my trauma under the rug.
Also, Adam Savage sister added when she first disclosed to her parents about the abuse, she thought her family would support her and share her desire to examine what is wrong in the house and pursue a path towards healing together but instead, they left her alone as though the abuse didn’t really matter.
Pacchiana also mentioned that eventually, she ended up losing her mom and dad. As sad and painful as this has been, she is proud to say that she has survived. She last contacted her brother, Adam Savage, over two decades ago when she called him out for his heartless attitude about the abuse and his plain disregard for the damage he had caused, but he chooses not to confess or show any feelings for her pain.
According to New York Post, MythBusters star Adam has denied sexually abusing his sister, following a lawsuit filed against him through his lawyer Andrew Brettler.

Miranda Pacchiana took birth in the lap of English parents Karen Savage (mother) and Whitney Lee Savage (father) in 1969 in New York, USA. Her age is 51 as of 2020. She was raised by a well-respected family along with her 5 siblings; Adam Whitney Savage is one of her elder brothers.
Adam Savage’s sibling is graduated from New York University and later pursued her masters from Fordham School of social work. In 2014, she wrote an article for the publication about listening to survivors of sexual abuse. The post was a reaction to Dylan Farrow’s allegations that her adoptive father Woody Allen sexually abused her as a child–something the famed director has long denied.
She is the creator of the blog “The Second Wound” where the writer wrote about the claimed abused and described how she lost her family after making the accusations.
