Mette Frederiksen (born November 19, 1977) is a Danish Politician and Author from Aalborg, Denmark. She is famous for serving as a Prime Minister of Denmark since June 2019. She gained immense media attention after becoming the youngest Prime Minister in the history of the nation.
Mette is also actively working with Leader of the Social Democrats and joined them in June 2015. Recently, Frederiksen reacted on a statement made by US President Donald Trump that he wanted to buy Greenland.
On Sunday, Trump’s economic adviser verified the US interest in purchasing the world’s largest island. Later, Mette said the same day that the idea of buying Greenland is absurd as the island is not for sale.
