Mariette Detotto (born October 26, 1963) is a Brazilian Actress, Dancer, and Celebrity Partner from Brasilia. She is well recognized as the lover of Walter Mercado who was a Puerto Rican Astrologer, Dancer, Writer, Actor, and TV Personality.
Walter was popularly known by his stage name Shanti Ananda. He first rose to fame after appearing on various astrologer shows. In 1963, Mercado made TV debut with the show Historia de mi Vida as a guest artist.
Later, he gained success with his regular astrology segment in El Show de las 12. Furthermore, some of his other popular shows were Recordar (1968), La mujer de aquella noche (1968), Ana Rosa (1965), Renzo el gitano (1971), etc.
Personal Life, Boyfriend & Spouse
In 2003, the 56-years-old Mariette Detotto launched a spiritual relationship with her then-boyfriend “Walter Mercado“. In fact, the astrologer publicly announced his affair during an interview.
Moreover, the former couple even appeared in a reality show together. Mariette and Shanti Ananda remained together and lived in Puerto Rica. As per the source, the actor never married in his life.
