Maddox Scott Ritch (born August 14, 2012) is an America Primary School Student from Gastonia, North Carolina, USA. He is suffering from Autism and Nonverbal medical disorder. On 22 September 2018, Maddox was playing along with his father “Ian Scott Ritch” and mother “Carrie” in the Rankin Lake Park in Gastonia.
The 6-year-old boy ran away from his dad into the woods. Due to Ian Ritch’s medical condition, he was unable to run fast and catch his son. After searching so long, Ian Ritch has called 911 for help.
Unfortunately, the team of 15 searchers has found a dead body of a 6-year-old boy (believed to be Maddox Ritch). He was found in a creek about 1 mile east of Rankin Lake Park.
Robert Helton (Gastonia Police Chief) has also confirmed this sad news of his death in a press conference.
