Lance Mason (born August 26, 1967) is an American Former Judge from Shaker Heights, Ohio. He served as a judge in Ohio for the Cuyahoga County Court of Common Pleas. Furthermore, the 51-year-old lawyer also worked as a prosecutor and state lawmaker.
Lance started his law career with the regulatory division of the U.S. Department of Agriculture. Moreover, he also served as an assistant prosecutor in Cuyahoga County. The U.S. Representative Stephanie Tubbs Jones was the county prosecutor during at that period.
On November 17, 2018, Mason brutally stabbed and murdered his ex-wife Aisha Fraser Mason. In fact, Aisha worked as a school teacher at Woodbury Elementary School. The former judge tried to escape from the scene in a black Audi SUV.
However, he struck a Shaker Heights police SUV. Mason injured both the officer and himself. Later, they were taken to the nearby hospital. Earlier, Lance punched his Aisha and slammed her head into a car back in 2014.
Therefore, he declared guilty to felonious assault and domestic violence. He was also sentenced to two years in prison. Later, Mason gave a judicial release after only serving nine months. Fraser Mason’s body was found in her home in Shaker Heights. She was just 44-years-old at the time of her death.
