Joshua Brown (born in 1991 – died October 04, 2019) was an American Football Player, Athlete, Entrepreneur, and Controversial Personality from Pensacola, Florida. He is best known as the key witness of Botham Jean’s murder case.
On September 06, 2018, Jean brutally killed by Amber Guyger (Former Police Officer). Recently, on October 04, 2019, Brown spotted with multiple gunshot wounds in his apartment complex.
The horrible event happened a few days after Amber Guyger’s testimony. Someone called Dallas police officers around 10:30 p.m. and informed about the killing. Later, his injured body was seen in the parking area of Atera Apartments.
The authorities admitted him into the nearby hospital and Brown died of his injuries shortly. He moved to this place after Botham’s shooting took place. In addition, the homicide case is now under investigation.
Many people are speculating his death is likely to be linked with his testimony. Some sources also claimed that Joshua was a drug dealer and killed by some mafia.
Botham Shem Jean Murder Case
The incident took place on the 6th of September 2018 when Guyer assassinated Botham Shem Jean by mistake. She went to Botham’s apartment after a long day of work assuming it was her own.
Later, the officer saw him in the room and got panicked. She thought that Jean was an intruder and fired a shot from her service weapon. After some time, Amber realized her mistake and left the apartment crying.
Meanwhile, Brown who lived across the hall from Botham Jean’s room heard the gunshots. On 23 September 2018, the officer took into the custody for her crime and released on bond.
In September 2019, Guyger’s trails began in the court and Joshua served as a witness to help the prosecutors. During the testimony, he told the whole event and said that he initially ran away after listening to two gunshots.
Moreover, he also confessed that he returned to his room and saw Amber leaving the location crying and talking to her phone. On October 01, 2019, Jean finally earned justice and Amber Guyger convicted 10 years in prison.
