Jeff Pastor (born on December 4, 1983) is a Cincinnati City Councilman from Cincinnati, Ohio. He came into the limelight after he got arrested on November 10, 2020, for federal corruption charges (Tuesday). He is one of the city council members to be arrested this year.
According to the officials, he was involved in brazen bribery scheme payoffs for help with city development projects.
He also began asking for money from developers within months of taking office. Moreover, in some cases, Jeff accepted bags of cash in return for his vote or other complementary treatment. He started working in January 2018.

During the investigation, officials concluded that Pastor recommended dollar costs for the fees and directed the agents on how to pay them further.
Moreover, According to one of the undercover agents, they also claimed that Jeff is arrested for collecting $55,000 in bribes. He also paid $200,000 to the agent for doing his help and asked a “monthly payment” for his continuing support.
Reaction to Jeff’s arrest was sudden, all the state and local Republican Party governors were called for the councilman to resign immediately. Furthermore, if he will be punished, he could face up to 20 years in prison.
