Jason Van Dyke (born in 1978) is a Former American Police Officer from Hinsdale, United States. He has murdered a black boy Laquan McDonald. In fact, Jason shots the teen boy on October 20, 2014, in Chicago. Though, the case did not report to the police.
Due to the pressure from the public, the video released. It is the evidence against Jason. He fires 16 bullets on McDonald. Then, the teenager is lying on the ground. There are three officers suspended for hiding the case.
His defense team told that he is suffering from mental disorder. They prove it on October 5, 2018. Mr. Dyke charged on the murder case. On the other hand, Van Dyke is the first Chicago officer convicted on the case. He receives 20 years of punishment.
