Ian David Long (born March 27, 1990) is an American Gunman in US Navy based in Thousand Oaks (California). He served in the marine department in Afghanistan. Before, his death mental health officers and crisis team arrived at his home.
In fact, he is the person behind the fatal shooting in Borderline Bar, Thousand Oaks. The incident happened on November 7, 2018, around 12 people lost their lives.

Moreover, the survivors told the police that Ian began the shooting outside the bar. Sgt. Ron Helus (Ventura County) has murdered by David. Still, his connection with the bar has not known. Long’s close friend told that he visited Borderline with him frequently. Though, Ian drank alcohol frequently and did not have control over him.
His friends would drag him out of the restaurant. Another friend, Todd Stratton knew from High School days. He did not believe his friend is a shooter. Moreover, the 28-year-old detained from the navy in 2018. He died after shooting himself with the gun near the nightclub.
