Who is Athlete Sprinter Hima Das?
18-year-old’s journey is not too easy to land to international level athlete competition. In addition to this, she has started with running in the rice fields, playing football and kicking in the mud pits. Soon, her talent noticed by a local coach name Nipon Das.
In fact, Nipon is the Directorate of Sport and Youth Welfare of Nagaon District. At the time of the inter-district meet, she did not wear good quality shoes. Apart from that, she has willingness and determination that helped her to win gold in 100m and 200m race.

Then, she has shifted to Guhawati on the advice of her coach. She has started taking formal training. Her coach Nipon is a constant guiding person for her. He tells her she should have focus and big dreams.
