Heartbeat is an English crime television series taken from the novel “Constable” by famous novelist and former police officer Peter N Walker. This is the longest-running show in England. The drama went on air on 10 April 1992 and ended on 12 September 2010. The show has also reached the top spot in UK TV ratings twice in a row. The story begins with a young couple PC Nick Rowan and Dr. Kate Rowan who arrive in the new small village Aidensfield and try to stay in the village. This show is focused on the work of police, medical line, and the residence of the villagers, how they maintain their town in a good shape.
