Haruki Noguchi suffered severe head injuries and internal bleeding and was transferred to Nusa Tenggara Barat Hospital for further treatment. Despite the best efforts of the medical staff, he succumbed to his injuries on August 16, 2023, at 5:40 p.m. local time. He was pronounced dead by Dr. Agus Prasetyo.
His death shocked and saddened the entire motorsport community, especially his family, friends, team, and fans. Many tributes poured in from fellow riders, teams, organizers, and media outlets.
