Goodloe Sutton (born in 1939) is an American Former Journalist, Owner, Editor, and Publisher of The Democrat-Reporter from Linden, Alabama. On February 14, 2019, he penned an editorial titled “Klan needs to ride again“. Furthermore, Sutton called for the return of the KKK to clean out Washington D.C. with lynching.
The Klan is an American white supremacist hate group. Moreover, Goodloe received a lot of hate for his article. On Tuesday afternoon, February 19, 2019, the University of Southern Mississippi’s journalism department removed him from the Journalism Hall of Fame.
