Eleanor Carol Leavell aka Carol Barr (born July 7, 1980 – died June 15, 2020) was an American Director and Politician Partner from Danville, Kentucky. She is widely recognized as a spouse of Andy Barr (American attorney and politician).
Since 2013, he is serving as the U.S. Representative for Kentucky’s 6th congressional district. Earlier, Andy used to serve in the administration of Kentucky Governor Ernie Fletcher.

On June 15, 2020, Carol Barr passed away at the young age of 39[1]The New York Times. As per Eleanor’s autopsy report, the main cause of her death was the mitral valve prolapse. It is also known as floppy valve syndrome. She suddenly died at her home Tuesday night as per the statement released by Mary Rosado (Chief of Staff).
Barr and his family requested privacy in order to mourn peacefully for the tragic loss. In fact, Mitch McConnell (U.S. Senate Majority Leader) also released a statement where he said that he and his wife are completely shocked and heartbroken after hearing the tragic passing of Eleanor Carol.
