Dr. Krishna Ella (born in 1969) is an Indian Entrepreneur and Scientist from Thiruthani, Tamil Nadu (India). Additionally, he is the founder of the Ella Foundation, Genome Valley, and Bharat Biotech International Ltd. He is Chairperson and Managing Director (MD) of the company.

The Hyderabad based organization received a green signal to start the human trials from the Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation (CDSCO). Dr. Krishna Ella’s founded company named the vaccine as Covaxin.
