Buck Henry (born December 9, 1930 – died January 8, 2020) was an American Screenwriter, Actor, Director, Comedian & Producer based in New York City, USA.
He worked hard on the award-winning films like “The Graduate,” “Heaven Can Wait,” “Old Boyfriends,” “First Family,” “Rude Awakening” and “The Last Shot.” Moreover, he received the Best Director Award nomination with Warren Beatty for the movie “Heaven Can Wait.”
Buck nominated twice for the Academy Award (Best Screenplay and Direction). He also hosted “Saturday Night Live” 10 times (1976-1980). He welcomed as a guest in the “30 Rock”, “Murphy Brown,” and “Will & Grace.”
Additionally, his Broadway credit includes “Morning’s at seven” revival. He left the industry due to his health problems. Buck died due to the heart attack on January 8, 2020. Still, his death happened in the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.

Henry Zuckerman was born on the 9th of December 1930 in New York City. His father, Paul Steinberg Zuckerman (born April 15, 1899 – died December 3, 1965), was an Air Force officer and a stockbroker.
Furthermore, Henry’s mother, Ruth Taylor (born January 13, 1905 – died April 12, 1984), was a silent movie actress. His nickname Buck came from his grandfather’s name. He attended the all-boys school The Choate School.
At the age of 15, he did his debut in the Off-Broadway “Life with Father” play. He also with the theater groups in Brooklyn, Bronx, and Long Island. After that, he earned a graduate degree in English and a senior writing fellowship from Dartmouth College.
