Blake Nordstrom (born 1960 – died January 2, 2019) was an American Businessman and Co-President of Nordstrom from Washington, D.C. He was also a member of the Board of Directors of the company. Furthermore, the 58-year-old businessman was one of the heirs of the Nordstrom franchises (American chain of luxury department stores).
The company also operates in Canada and its headquarters is in Seattle, Washington. Moreover, Blake shared the company with his brothers named Peter and Erik Nordstrom. The businessman recently passed away at the age of 58.
On 10th December 2018, Nordstrom revealed that he diagnosed with lymphoma. It is a cancer of the lymphatic system. In addition, Blake died on the 2nd of January 2019 in Washington after he lost his fight against cancer.
Mr. Nordstrom was the great-grandson of John W. Nordstrom. He was a Swedish immigrant. John invested $13,000 USD in a gold mine stake in a Seattle shoe store. Later, the company eventually grew into a nationwide chain of department stores.
