Bharathi Kannamma is a Tamil-language television social drama show. This serial is produced by Praveen Bennett under his able direction. This show launched on Star Vijay on 25 February 2019 and remained the choice of the audience till now. The story of this TV serial is shown on the differences between white and black in our society, where the black one is not given much Importance and the same white one is given more importance. According to the show, this story is about a black girl Kannamma Bharathi Priyan (Roshni Haripriyan) who is unhappy with the stepsister and her mother because of her dark complexion and how she fights with the conservative thinking of society in her life.

As: Dr. Bharathi Priyan
Role: Bharathi is the husband of Kannamma and father of Hema and Soundarya Lakshmi. He is a successful doctor. He left his wife because he misunderstood that his wife having affair with Varun.
Manasvi Kottachi
As: Soundarya Lakshmi
Role: Soundary is the twin daughter of Bharathi and Kannamma who is a very talkative girl. She is an intelligent and strong brave girl. She lives with her mother in a poor situation. She doesn’t know about her father and her twin younger sister.
Lisha Rajkumar
As: Hema Jr.
Role: Hema Soundarya has a twin younger sister and is the daughter of Bharathi and Kannamma who spends an ordinary life with her father. She is a sensitive type of girl who does not know about her mother and elder twin sister.

Role: Dr. Venba is a Bharathi obsessive lover who pretends to be an innocent girl so that no one gets to see her real face. She is a psycho and drug addict woman who can go to any extent to find her love.

Role: Anjali is Kannamma’s fair-skinned beautiful girl and Kannamma’s half-sister who she hates and never misses any chance to embarrass her.
Akhilan Pushparaj
As: Akhilan
Role: Akhilan is the husband of Anjali and is the son of Venu and Soundarya. He is a good husband who loves his wife and wants to live happily with his brother and sister-in-law Bharathi and Kannamma.
Roopa Sree
As: Soundarya Devi
Role: Played the role of Soundarya Venu’s wife, who is the mother of Shruthi, Akhilan, and Bharathi. She is the mother-in-law of Kannamma and Anjali and grandmother of Soundarya Lakshmi and Hema. She did not like Kannamma earlier because of her complex color, but she started to like her due to her good nature and now she also supports her.

As: Venu Gopalakrishnan
Role: Venu is the husband of Soundarya and father of Akhilan, Bharathi, and Shruthi. He is the father-in-law of Anjali and Kannamma and grandfather of Hema and Soundarya Lakshmi. He loves his wife and supports her in every decision she makes. He supports Kannamma because of her good nature.
