Anmol Narang (born in 1997) is an Indian-American Second Lieutenant from Roswell, Georgia. She is famous for being the first Sikh who appoints as a Second Lieutenant in the US Army.
In fact, she is also the first observant Sikh woman cadet who graduated from the US Military Academy. Anmol currently holds the rank of second lieutenant in the US Army. She is a second-generation immigrant in the United States of America.
Soon after graduating from West Point Military Academy, Narang attained the post in the US Army. Furthermore, she will be assuming her posting in Okinawa, Japan in January 2021.
Before her appointment, Anmol also getting ready to attend a Basic Officer Leadership Course at Fort Sill in Lawton, Oklahoma. As per the source, the second lieutenant is the second-highest rank in the three tiers in the US Military ranks[1]The Tribune.
