Ankita Sharma (Hindi: अन्किता शर्मा, Born 25 April 1992) is an Indian Police Service officer from Durg, Chhattisgarh. In the past, she has been in the news after she got into a verbal fight with a Congress party MLA in Kasdol, Chhattisgarh.
In March 2021, this IPS officer became the talk of the town because she has been coaching the less privileged children for UPSC examinations.

Controversy with Congress MLA
Ankita had an argument with the Minister of Legislative Assembly, Shakuntala Sahu at Kasdol’s Baluda Bazar. When I researched about this matter it came to my knowledge that:
Sahu was protesting along with some factory workers. The protest was about an accident in which a worker had lost his life. Demands were made for compensation money.
Just as these requests were met, the relatives of that worker left. But Shakuntala refused to leave and carried on with the protest.
When Ankita confronted her, Sahu was caught on camera threatening Sharma and telling her to back off.
Her exact words were Behave well, otherwise, I will show you your status (ठीक से रहो वर्ना औकात दिखा दुंगी). Even though this made Sharma furious she protected her honor gracefully.
