Amit Panghal (born October 16, 1995) is an Indian Light flyweight Boxer and Army Officer from Mayna Village, Rohtak (Haryana). He has won the gold medal in Boxing (49 kg flyweight category) at Asian Games 2018, Jakarta. In the final round, Amit started with a safe game against Hasanboy Dusmatov of Uzbekistan. Furthermore, Hasanboy is world no.1 boxer and gold winner in Olympics 2016.
During the first round, Panghal showed his swift moves and won round one. Moreover, his dominance increased in the second round too. In the end, a few punches by Dusmatov could not change the game. The Rohtak boy won the finals by 3-2.
