Alpeshji Thakor (born November 7, 1975) is an Indian Politician from Gujarat, India. He is the member of Gujarat Legislative Assembly representing Radhanpur. Furthermore, the 42-year-old Politician works with the Indian National Congress Political Party. In the initial days of his career, he served his country as a social and political activist.
Moreover, Thakor is also the leader of the OBC Koli community in Gujarat. The politician also founded the Gujarat Kshatriya-Thakor Sena and OBC, SC, ST Ekta Manch.
Recently, Alpesh Thakor accused of his involvement in the attack of North India migrants in Gujarat. On September 28, 2018, a 14-month-old girl raped by a worker (19-year-old) from Bihar in Sabarkantha district. Later, the migrants from states like Bihar and Uttar Pradesh attacked by Kshatriya-Thakor Sena.
According to the sources, there were also many local people involved in the attack. They provoked to attack through social media. There was a young man named Rahul Parmar who is associated with Thakor Sena who was also found guilty.
In addition, Alpeshji denied all the allegation about his involvement. The Gujarat police arrested him. Moreover, the police also arrested 19 other people who were involved in the attack.
